First global conference on the European Qualifications Framework


6 January 2009 - The potential of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) to connect with developments in education elsewhere in the world will be in focus at the first ever global conference on EQF organised by the ETF in Brussels on 29-30 January. The EQF conference entitled "Linking to a globalised world" will bring together 150 policy makers and experts from across the world.

19 December 2008 - The ETF actively participated in the preparation of the Euromed Ministerial Forum on vocational training held this week in Marseille, France, by drafting the Background Paper, one of the key documents of the conference.

18 December 2008 - This was the title of the conference that attracted over a hundred employer representatives and a wide media coverage at the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Zagreb on 10 December 2008. The event was jointly organised by the Croatian Government, Ministry of Education, Chambers of Economy and Crafts, Union of Employers, and the ETF.
